Entry-Level Production Line Attendant – Packaging

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Entry-Level Production Line Attendant to join our packaging team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the production line by ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking their first job in manufacturing – no prior experience is required. We provide on-the-job training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on the packaging production line to pack, seal, label and prepare products according to quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Inspect products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies before packaging.
  • Operate basic packaging equipment (tape machines, sealers, scales, palletizers, etc.) after proper training.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all food safety, GMP, and housekeeping standards.
  • Stack, move, and palletize finished packages using proper lifting techniques.
  • Meet daily production quotas and line speed requirements.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality problems to the supervisor.
  • Assist with other general labor tasks as needed in the production area.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • No experience required – entry-level position with full training provided.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours) and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally, and up to 150 lbs as needed with assistance.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable attendance and good work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Must be able to read and follow basic instructions in English.
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.

Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or general labor experience.
  • Forklift or pallet jack certification (training can be provided).
